2027 UPDATES
from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services:
Part B Premium Increase: Projected increase from $202.90/month → $209.50 in 2027 (per CMS Trustees Report published June 9, 2026). Official amount to be released November 2026. This does not count IRMAA, if applicable.
Part D Changes:
$2,400 Max Out of Pocket (up from $2,100 in 2026).
$700 standard deductible (up from $615 in 2026).
Part D Premium Stabilization Demonstration program ends December 31, 2026; anticipate an increase in standalone Part D plan premiums for 2027.

Is this a fluid situation, like a contract negotiation? If so:

“Hurry up and wait” can be frustrating, but is often the answer while details are worked out.
Is it a permanent change? If so:
Book a consultation to evaluate your situation and recommended next steps.
Consult, evaluate, then decide.
NOTE:
October 1: 2027 plan information becomes available and we can begin discussing in detail.
October 15 - December 7: The official Annual Enrollment Period when qualified plan changes for 2027 can be submitted.
January 1, 2027: Effective date for plan changes made during the Annual Enrollment Period.
Common reasons for considering a switch:
Changes in your healthcare needs (e.g., new doctors or prescriptions).
Upcoming procedures or concerns that may require adjustments to your coverage.
Significant changes to your healthcare plan, including plan cancellation and/or the insurance carrier exiting the market altogether.
REMEMBER: You do not have to make any changes unless it’s the right decision for you.
